I am trying to run some SPIS (6.2.6) simulations in batch mode (./Spis.sh -p). I want to know if there is a way to enable the export of .vtk files at the end of the simulation?
I’ve tried setting the outputs exportDensity, exportPotential to ASCII and use those files, but I can’t correctly convert the .nc files to vtk from there. An example of the file I’ve been trying to convert is the final_plasma_potential.nc file. I tried using paraview to convert it to vtk.
Any suggestions on how to proceed with this? Much appreciated as always.
At the moment, SPIS 6.2.6 does not support exporting VTK files directly when running in batch mode.
This functionality has recently been developed through a combination of an ESA-funded project and internal Artenum R&D, and is expected to be included in the next public release of SPIS, which we currently anticipate by the end of this year.
The next public release will also include several improvements to the visualization of 3D results, as well as the Export and Export All functionalities, making post-processing and data export more convenient.
