Spis.bat Loading Applications stuck at 0%

Hi everyone,

I have an issue loading both SPIS.bat and SPISno3D.bat, as when I run both files I get stuck at 0% loading. This happened after installing the 2013 Visual C++ Redistributable. I tried running older versions of SPIS, but I get the same problem with 6.1.0, 6.2.6, 6.2.4. The log console also doesn’t open and nothing posts in the cmd window. Any help or ideas would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

It seems the application is stuck on loading materials for the material database tool.

As a temporary try, can you do the following :

  • go to resources and edit org-spis-dev.properties
  • add a # at the beginning of the two following lines
    • `org.keridwen.modelling.material.database.data.path`
    • `org.keridwen.modelling.material.database.persistence.path`

And try to reload the application.
If it works, you will not have access to the material database in the tools but it seems that there are file rights issue, in this case also ensure that you can define groups in the Group Editor and that materials are present.
