Fix
Duplicate Tabs in Data Mining Perspective
Description
This patch resolves an issue occurring in certain configurations where,
when displaying a result in the Data Mining perspective, multiple identical
tabs were opened instead of a single one.
This behavior caused visual duplication, could confuse users, and
increased the application’s memory usage.
Problem Before the Fix
- A result displayed in the Data Mining perspective was shown as many times
as the perspective itself had been opened since the application was launched,
leading to multiple tabs with identical content. - For large simulations, displaying all these duplicated results significantly
increased the software’s memory usage.
Solution
- Added a mechanism to ensure that only one tab per result is displayed.
Patch Installation
- Launch SPIS 6.2.5.
- In the top menu, go to Tools → Apply Patch.
- Select the patch file you downloaded.
- Restart SPIS to complete the installation.
