Hello all!!
Is it possible to set one elecNode at -10 V and another elecNode floating. The motive is to find the effect of -10V node on the floating node.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Sebastian. You’re the only post here, so you might find more of an audience in the SPIS category, which is also more in line with your question.
On to your question: In space, we don’t generally have a nice cable to earth ground to set absolute potentials, and that’s the behaviour SPIS is set to mimic
to set a relative potential of -10V on node 1 w.r.t. node 0, it’s very easy, add this line in the circuit.txt file:
V 1 0 -10
If you really want an absolute fixed potential, as well as floating material, there are some settings set up for a vacuum chamber grounding, but I forget what. It should be described in the user manuals.
Thanks for your reply. I tried searching the user manual regarding grounding. But i could not find anything useful. Is there any other way around?
