[Archive] Yosemite/El Capitan support

Hi! I’m trying to use SPIS on OSX El Capitan. We I try to create a new project, I get this message:
_NSJVMLoadLibrary: NSAddLibrary failed for /libjawt.dylib
JavaVM FATAL: lookup of function JAWT_GetAWT failed. Exit
I then noticed the disclaimer:
(Native components not supported yet on Apple OSX 10.10 Yosemite)
Is this error related to lack of support above Yosemite? Is there any way to use SPIS without reverting to an older OS?

The native components, like vtk, used in SPIS 5.1 distributions are not supported on Apple OSX 10.10 Yosemite and higher.
