[Archive] the size of the satellite model

Message by SHINYA NAKAMURA:
Hello.
I would like to know the size of the satellite model in SPIS.
The satellite model is in "GEO_NASAWC.spis5"or in "GEO_ECSSWC.spis5"and the model have two solar cells and two round antennas .
and i would like to know the size of Ellipsoid external boundary.
can I know them?
thanks.

Hi, you can edit the geometry CAD and look at the ellipsoid size. Or you can open the mesh file with gmsh and look at the dimensions using axes.

Message by Sébastien Hess:
Dear Nakamura-san,
The geometry of the simulation domain can be viewed using a gmsh CAD editor (e.g. \http://geuz.org/gmsh/). The mesh file can be found in the xxx.spis5/Preprocessing/Mesh/GeometricalSystem folder.
The domain size is about 50x30x60 meters, and the satellite size including the solar panels, about 11x4x1.5meters (antennas are about 2.5 meters away from the satellite center)
Regards,
Sébastien Hess

Thank you for your comments.
I can look the mesh file, but cannot look the geometry file.
I don’t know where the geometry file is in.
how can I know the size of the model when I open the “mesh” file with gmesh?
Thanks.

The domain size is about 50×30×60 meters and satellite size is about 11×4×1.5 meters.
This mean X×Y×Z size?
and more, how long the radius of the round antenna and what is the size of solar cell?
