Hi,
I’m new to SPIS but I would like to use it. However, I have difficulties in understanding what different parameters mean. After I finish the mesh, in the group editor I can identify the spacecraft boundary, external boundary and the computational volume. OK, now how do I know what are all these parameters for example NodeFlagBd, XyzBd etc. ?
Please, I need help!Best regards,
Alex

Hi,
in the group editor, the panel located on the right helps you defining the parameters. usually you need to set only the material and the electrical node for spacecraft surfaces. Other parameters are set automatically.

Dear Alexandru,
All default values set by the group editor are normally correct and it is not necessary to change the numerical characteristics like NodeFlagBd or XyzBd.
You can read the section “6.1.3. Groups edition and properties settings” in the user manual for more information about the group edition.
Regards,
Benjamin

Well what helped me most was actually the following document : How to control NUM from UI.
Good to know for other people.
