I am using SPIS v.5.1.8.
Among the Global Parameters there is the “Sources” tab, which I understand can be used to simulate an electric thruster.
I have a few questions about this:

1. Is it possible fo find anywhere in the documentation the values of the parameters in the “Sources” tab that can be used for a “typical” HET?
2. How are these values then associated to the corresponding S/C surface (thruster channel exit plane)?
Thank you.

Hello,
To answer your questions:1) no such documentation has been released for SPIS. You have to tune it by hands to fit some HET data available in the literature.
2) In the group editor, you will find a sourceId field. Source 1 characteristics will be applied to surfaces with sourceId=1.
Sébastien
